This Winter, Sydney gets a little Lost in the F.O.G
Now in its fifth year, Lost in the F.O.G (Festival of Grenache) has built a serious following in South Australia, the kind of event people plan entire weekends around. Founded by the team at Alkina, the festival was inspired by a simple idea: all eyes on Grenache.
If Pinot Noir has elegance and Shiraz has power, Grenache sits somewhere beautifully in between: lifted, perfumed, savoury and quietly complex, often all at once. Right now, it’s one of the most compelling grapes in the country, and the producers pouring at Lost in the F.O.G are a big reason why.
Featuring more than 20 producers and over 100 wines on pour, Lost in the F.O.G is a roaming tasting experience designed to be explored at your own pace. Move freely between winemakers, discover new favourites and hear the stories from behind the bottles.
