Public Tour of Parliament of NSW

Tour the Parliament of New South Wales, located on Macquarie Street, Sydney, Australia's first and oldest Parliament.

Parliament House Facade

Join every Monday and non-sitting Friday at 1:30pm for a free guided tour. Over one hour, friendly guides will take you around the Parliament of New South Wales, Sydney’s oldest public building. You will experience the beautiful colonial architecture first-hand, while learning more about the role, history and work of the Parliament.

Step back in time, exploring the Parliament’s historic chambers and take a seat where laws are made in both the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council chambers.

While walk-ins are always welcome, we recommend that you book in advance to secure your preferred date and time slot. During New South Wales school holidays, public tours are at 11:30am and 1:30pm, Monday to Friday.
