An exhibition at Parliament of NSW exploring stories of homelessness, survival and resilience.

(c) Max Dupain

The historic Fountain Court at NSW Parliament will host a powerful exhibition by the UNSEEN Women’s Artist Group, presented by MUTTI – the Museum of Understanding Through Tolerance and Inclusion.

Featuring artworks by 30 women with lived experience of homelessness across New South Wales, the exhibition offers moving insights into the often-invisible realities of housing insecurity.

Created through MUTTI’s mobile UNSEEN Arts Hub, a co-designed travelling studio, each work transforms personal trauma into public testimony. These women reclaim their narratives, challenge stigma, and invite audiences and policymakers alike to view homelessness through a more compassionate and informed lens.

Visit the free exhibition at NSW Parliament House on weekdays, 9am-5pm from 5-28 August 2025.

Access is to the left of the building via the security gatehouse.
